We always take care to fully understand your project requirements and can provide an accurate cost estimate before starting work. If you have a particular deadline, please let us know when you book so we can ensure we allocate the necessary resources. Most edits take a day or two, but more extensive projects or those requiring substantial creative input, can take a week or more. This is the number of final images selected and processed by the photographer (ie not the raw files!). FilmFolk specialises in high quality videography and photography services for corporate, commercial and private clients. I’d highly recommend working with FilmFolk!
For safety reasons, highly dense areas aren’t best for operating a drone, plus you’ll have less control over what will happen in your shot. Depending on the style of the wedding video you want, this will factor into whether or not you feel a drone is worth it. Confirm that overhead footage makes sense for the season when your wedding day is taking place and walk through any contingency plans, if necessary. Even if you decide on capturing aerial footage via drone, if it’s not deemed safe on the day of your wedding, this will halt your videographer’s ability to film. If your budget only has enough room for one or the other, you’ll want to take that into account, as well. Keep in mind that most videographers and studios have a cap on how long they’ll shoot drone footage, which may only be a few minutes versus the hours you’ll receive from traditional videographers.
Additionally, make sure that the videographer is licensed and insured, as this ensures that they are operating legally and safely. Inquire about the type of drones and cameras they use, as well as any additional equipment that might enhance the quality of the video. High-quality drones and cameras are essential for capturing clear, stable, and visually stunning footage.
While many will be intimate, up-close images, there will likely be several you’d like to see filmed from above. With clear information and a good sense of timing, your guests will have the information they need to be ideal participants in your wedding video. Similarly, it is important for the people who will be captured on video to understand the plan for the day. For example, does your wedding venue have a no-fly zone or a time of day when drones are forbidden?
As mentioned above, it’s just part of my story-telling approach, and it’s very powerful when captured from up in the air. As a visual story-teller, I’m constantly looking for ways to get creative within my wedding films. But it has a place, and a purpose in your film, so I carefully select specific drone shots to incorporate top wedding videographer Italy 2026 in the video, and only add them in when it feels right. I’ll help you figure out if it’s the right fit for your wedding.

I’ve now worked with FilmFolk several times for various work projects and have always been impressed with the quality of work. We had panel speakers recorded and a Christmas video – both were delivered of a high quality when it comes to sound and picture. Highly, highly recommend, five stars aren’t enough! Thank you Film Folk, you guys were amazing. After parting ways, within a couple days we had the photos shared with us and we are thrilled with the result.
This time provides excellent shots of your guests mingling and enjoying themselves. It’s important to remember that being able to fly a drone doesn’t automatically mean the operator can capture professional-quality images. This is partly due to privacy concerns, as drones might capture images of people who are not part of your wedding. The happy couple can enjoy a 360-degree view of their wedding day from a bird’s-eye view. As a wedding drone videographer I provide you with a unique and breathtaking aerial view of your wedding venue and ceremony, capturing memories that will last you both a lifetime. Most wedding venues are in beautiful locations (check out my seven favorite Oahu wedding venues for drone videography), and what’s a more special event than your wedding?
The ability to shoot in RAW format provides greater flexibility during editing which is especially critical for wedding photography. Establishing Footage means we will get shots of your venue and the surrounding area to include in your video, so people watching it will be able to see the location and your venue. But be careful, not all companies take the necessary Safety Precautions or follow Area Regulations when flying a drone – which can lead to damage (to your venue or guests) as well as legal action against the company at fault. Drones can offer amazing aerial shots of your wedding city, ceremony site, and venue that were never possible without a pilot before. Video drones have a very high quality camera on board that captures the landscapes and can also send the footage in real time back down to earth.
